Event photos let the highlights of your event shine - and leave a lasting impression!

Letting pictures speak when words alone are not enough

You are responsible for communication, for visibility, for change.
And you know: sometimes it takes more than numbers and more than arguments.
It’s not just about ROI figures and the leads that are generated – it takes pictures that touch. Photos that convey energy and tell your story.

I support people who want to break new ground and bring their brand to life.

Your event is full of moments that are too precious to be lost.

As an event photographer and moment finder, I track down these moments and capture them – unposed, genuine, up close.
This results in photos that tell stories, capture atmosphere and evoke emotions.

  • Valuable memories for you and your guests
  • More visibility and a stronger reputation
  • Your message becomes clearer and more sustainable
  • Your corporate culture becomes tangible
  • Fresh content for social media
  • a powerful tool for attracting new guests and partners

By the way: In addition to photos, I can also produce an event film of your event.
Read my blog to find out why event photography and event film complement each other perfectly.

Event photos of congresses, trade fairs and conferences - create connections, enhance impact

A great congress deserves more than just a few snapshots – it deserves real appreciation.
Professional event photos have an impact far beyond the moment. They enrich your website, your blog articles and your social media content. What is often underestimated: they are a powerful tool for employer branding and customer loyalty.

Photographing events is exactly my thing: feeling the atmosphere of the location, observing encounters, capturing moods – and all this in a modern, clear visual language.

I photograph discreetly and purposefully, without disturbing the proceedings:

  • the opening speech
  • the speakers on stage
  • the special lighting atmosphere in the hall
  • Exhibitions in the adjoining room
  • Lively discussion rounds
  • spontaneous networking during the breaks

This creates images that not only document, but also convey emotions.

Evening events - elegance in the interplay of light

Evening events have their very own atmosphere: dimmed lighting, festive tables, moving moments.
This is exactly what makes them photographically challenging – but with modern technology and a keen instinct, I manage to preserve the mood with the available light.

I only use the flash discreetly and only where it brightens up the scene without disturbing the naturalness.
Whether it’s a gala, award ceremony or company party – I capture the special moments: unobtrusively and authentically.

Urban & Outdoor - moments in the open air

Outdoor events have their very own character. Things are usually a little more casual. The weather and the lighting mood are as they are. The sun creates a lot of light – and also shadows. That’s a reason for me to have a flash with me even when the weather is nice, to brighten up the shadows.

Group photos - relaxed, lively, authentic

A good group photo doesn’t just show the people – it reflects the mood of the moment. I create a relaxed atmosphere so that it doesn’t look posed

I create a relaxed atmosphere so that your group photo doesn’t look posed. I give clear instructions, ensure the best position and that everyone is clearly visible. Light and perspective play a major role – I find the best angle for a natural and lively picture.

Whether it’s a small team or a large award ceremony – with my experience I create group photos that look natural, lively and unforgettable.

Hello, I'm Cornelius - your event photographer from Frankfurt.

When taking pictures, I like the feeling of spontaneity and liveliness. I look for moments that move, touch, inspire and enrich.

My style: discreet, emphatic, reliable

I have been accompanying events for over 30 years and have learned that the most beautiful photos are taken when people feel unobserved.
I use the available light and only use flash discreetly to brighten things up – so colors and skin tones remain natural.

  • Institutions & initiatives – Ministries, business initiatives and networks that want to make socially and economically relevant topics visible.

FAQ

The price of event photography depends primarily on two factors:

Additional costs may arise due to: Travel costs, extensive retouching, extended usage rights or express service.

In principle, the simple rights of use for social media, web and journalistic purposes are included, unlimited in time and space.

The rights can be individually extended for posters, print campaigns or passing on the photos to third parties.

Every image is professionally edited. I invest around half of my working time in optimization: colors, contrasts, small retouches – for a visual language that convinces.

Yes, as a rule. I invest at least 50 percent of the time I spend photographing in image editing to optimize the effect and also to remove distracting image elements.

I deliver an average of 30 to 50 edited images per hour of event photography, depending on the type of event.

It is important to obtain the consent of the guests. Ideally in writing (GDPR-compliant) with advance notice that photographs will be taken at the event.

In practice, it is the exception that someone goes to an event and does not want to be photographed. Of course I take this into consideration! The people concerned are welcome to contact me and I will make sure that they are not in the picture when I take the photo. I am happy to advise you if you are unsure.

A preliminary discussion about the agenda is particularly valuable. That way, I know when the key moments will take place – and never miss an important moment.

My photographic style is the reportage style. I use zoom lenses to be flexible and fast fixed focal lengths to take photos with beautiful bokeh. I keep changing my locations to get a variety of perspectives and to show details.

When taking photographs, I am the sympathetic observer of the event. I see myself as a guest and benevolent observer of the event with a sensitive eye for the essentials.

My aim is to capture the mood of the event and not to create an atmosphere. That’s why I integrate myself into the audience as much as possible, because if I act inconspicuously, I can take authentic photos most easily.

If necessary, I also take the liberty of taking a favorable position or staging a scene. This is important for group portraits!

In most cases, I come alone.

However, some tasks can only be accomplished as a team, especially for large events and where maximum flexibility is required.

If I have to be absent for unforeseen reasons, I have colleagues who could stand in for me. Fortunately, this has never been necessary so far.

You can get the best 10 photos of the day in the evening by arrangement and at no extra cost, the remaining photos will be ready within a few days.

Fortunately, this has never happened, but just in case, I always have a second camera and several lenses and memory cards with me.

Speaking of security: the files are backed up twice on physically separate storage media during all phases of image processing.

Yes, you can do that too. I am a photographer and videographer and know my way around video production.

This option is ideal for trade fairs, for example. I can film visitors streaming into the halls in the morning, photograph the many talks and product presentations in the afternoon and shoot interviews with important visitors or the CEO in between.

At congresses or conferences, I can photograph the speakers and conduct video interviews with selected participants during the breaks or at the end of the event.

Yes, that is also possible. My direct catchment area is 50 km, i.e. the Rhine-Main area with Wiesbaden and Darmstadt. I do not charge travel costs within this radius.

If you are looking for an event photographer directly from Berlin, I can recommend Emad Ette.
